Electric-powered mobility: Green On continues its development and links up with Mobivia Group

Green On, a specialist in the supply of fleets of freely available electrically assisted bicycles for companies and local communities, announces the conclusion of a strategic partnership with Mobivia Group, the European leader in the maintenance and supply of multi-brand vehicles and a player in the field of more sustainable mobility.

Founded in 2009, Green On provides fleets of electrically assisted bicycles and electric scooters for everyday travel for a business clientele. This concept, which is part of a sustainable mobility approach, has already attracted several companies, including the SNCF group, STMicroelectronics, the Bank of France, Bouygues Construction and the local authority of Saint-Priest in the Rhône valley. The service provided by Green On is specifically reserved for the employees of the companies concerned, giving them access to bicycles for business and private use.

Supported by the complementary strength of its 14 brands, Mobivia Group offers a full range of products and services, equipment and mobility vehicle maintenance for both private and business clients. As well as its historic activity of motor service centres and local rapid service stations (with brands such as Norauto, Maxauto and Midas in France), Mobivia Group is committed to a more sustainable and responsible mobility programme through its development fund, Via-ID. The fund develops and supports young companies in the field of eco-mobility. Its acquisition of a stake in Green On, the seventh Via-ID company (alongside Altermove, Buzzcar, Green Cove Ingénierie, Izydrive, Moving Car and Sinéo), has strengthened its commitment to driving progress in this field.

The partnership has equipped Green On with the resources it needs to roll out its strategy of:

• boosting its sales and marketing activity
• developing up-stream and down-stream synergies with other brands in the Mobivia Group
• international expansion.

Arthur Schulz and François Schaub, joint founders of Green On, have welcomed the deal: "The arrival of Mobivia Group confirms the relevance of our offering. We are delighted to embark on this new stage with this group, which has long been recognised for its vision and innovative approach to the field of sustainable mobility."

Fabien Derville, Managing Director of Mobivia Group, stresses: "Our partnership with Green On is evidence of our commitment to increasing our presence across the entire eco-mobility range. Green On’s fleets of electrically assisted bicycles and electric scooters are a perfect fit with the vision of Mobivia Group: to enable people in the world to be sustainably mobile."
