This 8th global forum for the responsible economy, which is being held from 21 to 24 October 2014, encourages businesses to take on new economic challenges in Lille, as well as throughout the region, on 22 October. Nine major challenges will be presented and developed during this event. Although these challenges will open up new horizons for the future, action must already be taken now. Some project developers coming from all over the planet have already taken up these challenges. These are the kind of best practices, which they will share with us, over this 4-day period.
The 2014 World Forum Lille will also present the progress made by the Troisième Révolution Industrielle (third industrial revolution) project launched at the end of the 2013 event, thanks to the participation of Jeremy Rifkin. At the same time, a new programme will be launched, with the following clear objective: Turning the north of France into a region that is recognised for its social innovation with one day (24 October) dedicated to Social Business and the launch of the ‘Social Business Nord de France’ project with Muhammad Yunus, 2006 Nobel Peace Prize winner.
